Water Media Paintings

Acrylic • Casein • Gouache • Watercolor

Except for Acrylic, which I will paint on primed Board or Canvas, I Primarily Paint on 300 LB 100% Rag Watercolor Paper or 400 LB 100% Rag Watercolor Paper.
Occasionally I will paint on 140 Lb 100% Rag Watercolor Paper. I Primarily use Cold Press or Hot Press Depending upon the Media & the Subject.
I also paint on Aquaboard or Illustration Board when using Acrylic, Casein or Gouache. I work with a Brush, Palette Knife as well as a Ruling Pen or a Bamboo Pen.
However, for Watercolor I take a traditional Transparent approach
